Live music festivals return to Paris!

After two years of cancellations, health constraints and lockdowns, popular live music events can finally get back to normal in Paris. There’s no doubt that the Fête de la Musique and the Solidays festival will bring to the start of summer a very special flavour of life resuming its usual course at long last! The Paris Fête de la Musique
As it has been every year since 1982, June 21st, the first day of summer, is also a day devoted to music. That’s when Paris is transformed into an open-air theatre with many concerts and events, from impromptu sessions by a few music-loving friends on a street corner to events bringing together performers of international renown. You will be able to mix and sample experiences by wandering from street to street, stopping to enjoy the performance of, for example, an orchestra in a café or restaurant. A five-minute walk from your Hotel Auteuil Tour Eiffel, you can catch the Viva l'Orchestra concert by the Orchestre de Grands Amateurs supervised by the Orchestre National de France, which will be held in the Grand Auditorium of the Maison de Radio France. They will perform some of the greatest works of classical music. This event is a link between professional and amateur musicians and an opportunity to discover this legendary venue and its perfect acoustics. Of course, as with all the Fête de la Musique events, admission is free. The concert will delight enthusiasts with the quality of the interpretations while remaining accessible to those who are less familiar with the genre.
The return of Solidays: “Love is back”
After the cancellation of the event in 2020 and 2021, it’s time to rediscover the warm and vibrant atmosphere of Solidays. Created to raise funds for the fight against AIDS, the festival takes place this year from June 24th to 26th at the Hippodrome de Paris – Longchamp in the Bois de Boulogne, very close to your Hotel Auteuil Tour Eiffel. The line-up is an exciting one, featuring legendary bands like Black Eyed Peas, Damso, and Feu! Chatterton, and solo performers such as Eddy de Pretto, Orelsan and M. It’s all for a worthy cause and you’ll also find the usual exhibitions and side events that are an essential part of Solidays. Book your tickets quickly!
